Mr. Jonathan Cardona was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Residency Malta Agency by the Minister for the Home Affairs, Byron Camilleri, according to the press release released by Malta government. Mr. Cardona will be replacing Mr. Charles Mizzi as head of Residency Agency.
Jonathan served as former CEO of Community Malta Agency, IIPA, Enemalta, Identity Malta. He has vast experience with Investment migration programs.
The Residency Malta Agency is the Government entity responsible for managing and promoting three residency programmes for non-EU nationals. The Malta Permanent Residence Programme, the Nomad Residence Permit and the Malta Startup Residence Programme. Through these programmes, third-country nationals can enjoy temporary or permanent residency in a safe and stable jurisdiction, with business opportunities, access to top-notch education and health care, while enjoying a Mediterranean lifestyle.
