Ireland offers young people from certain countries can apply for a Working Holiday Authorisation to visit Ireland for up to 1 year.

- Republic of Korea
- United States of America
If you are already in Ireland you cannot apply.
Taiwan
Applications by citizens of Taiwan are dealt with by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS). The rules for 2018 applications have been changed due to the high volumes of applications received in 2017. Applications will now be processed in 2 batches (subject to availability).
Do not apply via the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade if you are a citizen of Taiwan.
