Antigua and Barbuda reduced the NDF contribution from $200,000 to half the price $100,000 for a family upto 4 persons and $125,000 for family of five.
This was announced by Gaston Browne at the Parliament, reported by Antigua Observer. The Prime Minister said the 50 percent price reduction for citizenship under the NDF is necessary to earn revenue to rebuild Barbuda.
There is no change in real estate investment option $400,000 and Business investment option $1,500,000.
Antigua and Barbuda is a member of the United Nations, the British Commonwealth, Caricom and the Organisation of American States (OAS) among many other international organisations. Holders of the Antigua and Barbuda passport enjoy visa free travel to approximately 132 countries, including the U.K. and the countries of the Schengen area.
By lowering the investment amounts, Antigua and Barbuda looks to compete with the other cheapest CBI programmes in the Caribbean such as Dominica, St Lucia requiring $100,000 for Citizenship.

St Kitts and Nevis citizenship also became cheaper when St Kitts CIU introduced Hurricane Relief Fund requiring USD 150,000 investment for SKN citizenship. Dominica also lately reduced processing fees for its CBI programme.
Grenada CIP currently costs $200,000 which is the most expensive of all CIP’s in the Caribbean. Grenada is the only country which has visa free to China and soon will have visa free to Russia.
Grenada and St Kitts and Nevis, lately signed visa waiver agreements with Russia enabling their citizens to visit Russia visa free.
In 2017 Canada revoked visa waiver with Antigua and Barbuda imposing visas. 95% of Barbuda destroyed by Hurricane Irma. Currently no Caribbean CBI programs have visa free access to Canada.
