UAE nationals are exempted from pre-visas to travel to Ukraine and Chile, which was recently announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This makes it easier to travel from 2018 onwards.
Ukraine: The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has announced that Emiratis holding ordinary passports are now exempt from pre-entry visas to travel to Ukraine as of 31st December, 2017. The Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, signed by the UAE and Ukraine on 2nd November, 2017.
Chile: UAE nationals can also travel to Chile without prior visa effective December 16th upto 90 days, twhich is according to MoU signed by the UAE and the Republic of Chile on 12th November, announced by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs at MoFAIC, said that holders of ordinary UAE passports will be able to enter Ukraine without a pre-visa requirement, with the possibility to stay in Ukraine for a period of up to 30 days on each visit. Diplomatic and private passport holders can stay in Ukrainian territory for 90 days within 180 days, he added.
UAE passport is rated as one of the most powerful passports in the GCC region. As of now, UAE nationals can visit 82 countries without visas, including EU Schengen states, Korea, New Zealand, Antigua & Barbuda, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong etc. Online visas are required to visit United Kingdom, Australia, India, Turkey
