Malta apartment prices increased by 4.2%

Malta National Statistics Office has published  Property Price Index (PPI), which  shows the price changes of residential properties purchased by households.

According to the latest report..

  • During the first quarter of 2017, the Property Price Index (PPI) increased by 4.8 per cent when compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year
  • The prices of apartments also increased by 4.2 per cent when compared to the corresponding quarter of 2016.
  • The prices of Maisonettes took a 5% jump to 9.6% from Q4 2016 to Q1 2017.
  • 11.4% of property transactions took place in St Julians, Sliema
