Range Developments and RIF Trust received an award from the Prime Minister of St. Kitts & Nevis in recognition of ongoing commitment to the development of the country through the Citizenship by Investment Program at a ceremony in Dubai.
Range developments are the developers of Park Hyatt St Kitts which opened in Nov 2017 and also a new Six Senses Hotel brand in St Kitts. The Sox Senses construction is set to be completed in two years adding over 500 jobs. Range developments also developer of Cabritts Resort Kempinski in Dominica and Black Bay Hotel in St Lucia, funded through the CBI programme.
”In the last 5 months we have submitted to more than 100 applications for St Kitts and Nevis, the success of this program is also due to a smooth process and its very attractive pricing. We can see today more and more interest on investing in real estate programs such as luxury resorts shares so applicants can also expect a return on their investments.” Said David Regueiro, COO of RIF TRUST, reported by Arabianbusiness.
In expressing his appreciation, Mr. Asaria stated, “This award is [in] recognition of years of hard work and dedication. We are the only developer in our sector to have completed a luxury hotel in the Caribbean through citizenship by investment and we are very touched by this acknowledgement from the Government of St. Kitts & Nevis. We look forward to many years of collaboration and completing our next project in St. Kitts in record time.”
In a statement released earlier this week, Mohammed Asaria, founder of Range Developments said that he completely endorses the new #CBI option and believes it will breathe new life into the country’s real estate market
“As the developers of the recently opened Park Hyatt St. Kitts, and the newly launched Six Senses St. Kitts, we think this is a very positive step which will breathe new life into the country’s real estate market. It will help bring jobs and investment to the country, and I would like to acknowledge the leadership of Dr. Timothy Harris and all his team who have worked so hard to understand the market conditions and create a favorable environment that benefits everybody,” Mr. Asaria said in a letter written to the government.
Mr. Asaria continued: “During construction of the Park Hyatt, we were contributing half of all construction wages on the island. We created more than 800 jobs, and now the Park Hyatt directly employs about 350 people and benefits many other people in the economic chain. The Six Senses St. Kitts will have a similar beneficial outcome, and it is particularly good because those jobs will be in the north of the island, an area where traditionally employment has been scarcer.”
St Kitts has made real estate investment cheaper allowing two applicants at US $200,000 each plus government fees, which can be resold after 7 years.
