Grenada received 9 CBI applications per month for Real Estate in 2018

Grenada has one of the most popular citizenship by investment programmes in the Caribbean. According to the latest 2018 statistics published by Finance ministry of Grenada, Grenada has received approximately 9 real estate applications per month for the CBI program in the year 2018 making a total of28 real estate investment applications received in the Q1 2018.

Grenada currently offers citizenship to international investors through $350,000 investment in real estate projects under the CBI program. Investors owning a real estate get permanent living address in Grenada, thus can qualify for Grenadian passport and permanent residence card.

Applicants seeking to obtain citizenship by investment in Grenada is to invest in a Government-approved  investment project. Currently, these projects encompass real estate developments such as hotels, villas, and resorts. Because of the growth of the tourism industry, there is rising demand for tourist housing facilities, Real estate developments are thus fantastic opportunities for investors looking for high returns. Applicants opting for the approved project (real estate) route must invest at least USD 350,000. They must keep the real estate for at least three years following the grant of citizenship.

Grenada has E-2 visa treaty with the United States and has visa free travel to 131 countries and ranks 65th powerful passport in the world. Grenada already has visa waiver with China and has recently signed visa waiver with Russia adding value to the passport of Grenada.
