European Union finance ministers are set to remove the Caribbean islands of St Kitts and Nevis, along with Bahamas from an EU list of tax havens next week, EU documents show, as reported by Reuters.
On 13 March 2018, the Council removed Bahrain, the Marshall Islands and Saint Lucia from the list and added the Bahamas, Saint Kitts and Nevis and the US Virgin Islands.

Once these two countries are removed, the following countries are expected to remain in the blacklist, mainly the US territories (situation on March 13 of 2018).

- Guam
- Namibia
- Palau
- Samoa
- Trinidad and Tobago
- US Virgin Islands
