The construction Jungle bay resort in Dominica is progressing well and set to open in March 2019.
Jungle Bay, one of the Caribbean’s most successful boutique hotel brands, is offering new vacation villas to investors under the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP). Prices start at $255,000. Each purchase comes with a recorded title that includes 1,200 square feet of land with a 400 sq ft villa unit.
On August 7, Jungle bay team hosted the Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Dominica including Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit.
On a tour of Jungle Bay, the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers were impressed with the progress of our development. They all eagerly look forward to our opening next year.
PM of Dominica, during the visit said
Moving forward, the opening of the four world class hotels being constructed using the CBI programme’s funds will contribute to our economy in a more diverse and impactful way than anything we had before.
During my site visit to the Jungle Bay Resort & Spa today, its developer Sam Raphael informed me that 90% of the 120 workers on site are locals.
When it opens in March 2019, it is Dominicans who will be trained and employed full-time to handle the operations of the hotel. In addition, all of the farmers and fishermen in the area will be engaged to steadily supply the resort.
My vision, which is already being manifested, is for Dominica to continually thrive by making investments in its people, in ways that will help Dominicans create further employment for themselves.
