St Lucia to get brand new Hyatt hotel

St Lucia to get a brand new 800-room Hyatt Hotel. The Construction of the hotel is due to begin in the second half of 2019 according to the announcement by government.

 

Invest Saint Lucia has completed transactions with a Barbados-based firm to buy land at Choc for an all-inclusive 800-room Hyatt Hotel.

 

Hyatt is a major international brand and we are now fortunate to have it showing an interest in this country once again,” the PM Chastanet said.

 

Saint Lucia continues to become one of the leading destinations in the Caribbean, as the government presses ahead to facilitate an enabling environment for growth within the tourism sector.

 

Some 1.2 million tourists visited Saint Lucia in 2018 with more than 60% passengers from cruise arrivals.  The top country nationals visiting Saint Lucia were United States (45%), United Kingdom, France, Canada.
