Saint Lucia Fairmont Hotel expected to be completed in 2021

The  Five Start Luxury Resort Branded By Fairmont is Earmarked for Construction in south of Saint Lucia,  in Sunset Bay, Choiseul and  expected  to be completed by 2021, according to the latest update provided by St Lucia Government.

 

The Fairmont Hotel in Saint Lycia is the CIP approved real estate project under the citizenship by investment program.  The hotel requires atleast USD 300,000 in order to be eligible for Saint Lucia citizenship.

 

Fairmont Saint Lucia will compromise of 93 rooms, 43 bungalows and 40 villas on 15 acres of beachfront property.

 

An estimated 330 people will be employed and a further 580 on a permanent basis.

 

“The project has approval in principal from the DCA, and an EIA was completed on the site which highlighted some development issues that would impact the project. As such, the design and layout had to be recommissioned with the approval of Fairmont. The redesign required additional property which was then vested to Invest Saint Lucia, and the property has been transferred to the investor,” ISL CEO Mr. Cherry said.

 

“We are working in conjunction with the residents to effect relocation.” he added.

 

More than 1.1 million tourists visited Saint Lucia in 2017 especially from cruise ships and the hotel is expected to promote growth of tourism sector.
