Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment program (CIP) received 345 applications resulting in $27.8 million in contributions for 2017-2018 with applications from 50 countries, according to official annual report presented in parliament.
The Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment Programme was officially launched on Tuesday December 29, 2015 since then the scheme had number of changes. The scheme opened for first applications from first application as of 1st January 2016. In 2017 the CIP Saint Lucia made new changes such as removing 500 limit and requiring $3 million net wealth.
In Aug 2018, The CIP unit announced applications from Iran to be suspended.
Saint Lucia CIP currently requires $100,000 one off contribution to National Fund, or $300,000 in approved real estate or $500,000 in Government bonds.
