Antigua recalls all machine readable passports

The Antigua and Barbuda government has made a major announcement recalling all machine readable passports (MRP).

 

Antigua passport office has announced all machine readable passports must be surrendered starting from Jun 1, 2019 and will be replaced with new e-passports. The machine readable passports will become invalid from 31 December 2019

 

Only e-passports will be valid for travel from Jan 1, 2020. 

 

This is applicable to all Antigua and Barbuda citizens including CBI citizens.
