Antigua visa waiver with Russia comes into effect on Oct 22

The Visa waiver agreement signed between Antigua and Barbuda and Russia comes into effect tomorrow, the Oct 22, according to Russian Foreign Ministry .

 

The Bilateral treaty Visa waiver program (VWP) was signed between two governments in St Petersburg on July 6, 2019.

 

From Oct 22, nationals of two countries are exempted from visas holding diplomatic, official and ordinary passports and can stay in the territory for 90 days in 180 day period, starting from the first entry.

 

For stays exceeding 90 days for business, employment etc, nationals of two countries require a visa  from the consulate or mission in their home country.

 

Employees of diplomatic missions, including their spouse, children under 18, and dependents of legal age upto 25 years old, who are in full time education, can benefit from visa waiver
