St Kitts signs visa waiver with Marshall Islands

St Kitts and Nevis has signed a new visa waiver agreement with Marshall islands to enable free movement of citizens of two countries.

 

“Truly delighted that StKitts & Nevis has signed visa waiver agreement with Marshall Islands through our countries’ high representatives in Taiwan. This will allow easier travel for our two peoples and allow greater people to people contacts”, said Mark Brantley, Foreign Minister of St Kitts and Nevis.

 

Visa waiver

The St Kitts Government is fully committed to sign more visa waiver agreements for its citizens, making St Kitts and Nevis (SKN) passport more powerful in the region.  Recently some of the countries that SKN have signed visa waiver agreements include: Ghana, Indonesia, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, Republic of India, Georgia, and San Marino. As of July 2019, Saint Kitts and Nevis citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 152 countries and territories.

 

The Marshall Islands is an island country and a United States associated state near the equator in the Pacific Ocean.  The country uses the United States dollar as its currency
