Chinese are showing interest in Antigua citizenship by investment program for 2019. According to the new figures released for first half of 2019.
Since the launch of the scheme in 2013, a total of 2,188 foreign nationals became CBI citizens through the citizen by investment scheme.
Among a total of 241 people who became citizens of Antigua through the investment scheme during this period, Chinese top the table acquiring citizenship followed by bangladeshis.
The statistics clearly shows NDF donation option is the most popular route to citizenship. More than 96% of clients used this option to become citizens

- Real Estate – 2%
- Business – 1.2%
Antigua has spent CIP funds received through the same in the following ways
- Pensions
- Social security
- Educational institutions (including internet access to UWI campus)
- Sports activities
