The construction of Six Senses 100-room luxury hotel located on Grenada’s La Sagesse beach broke ground last week. The hotel project is scheduled for completion by November 2022 and is expected to have a potential impact on the rural economy.
Project developers, Range Developments announced the start of construction last Thursday, to coincide with Grenada 46th anniversary of independence on February 7.
Welcoming the start of work on the project Dr. Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada said, “The Government of Grenada fully supports and welcomes the work of Range Developments, which has an outstanding record of delivering the finest, world class resorts in the Caribbean.”
He said, “This project will impact significantly on Grenada’s rural economy, especially through the creation of jobs in both the construction phase and when the hotel begins operations. In addition, Six Senses La Sagesse will offer visitors a more unique experience, given its location outside of the traditional tourist belt.”
Managing Director of Range Developments, Mr. Mohammed Asaria said the pace of progress on the project is indicative of the company’s commitment to deliver in record time. Only 10 months have elapsed since the Government of Grenada signed the agreement with Range Developments.
“We are proud to have completed the hotel design and commence construction within such a short timeframe,” Mr. Asaria said, adding, “These are exciting times ahead, we always strive to make a difference in the communities we operate in. The Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada Resort, similar to all of our developments, will create a halo effect across the country’s economy.”
Six Senses La Sagesse is a project approved under Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Range developments have been a successful developer of luxury five star resorts funded by CBI in the Caribbean. The company has already completed Park Hyatt St Kitts and Cabritts Resort Kempinksi in Dominica.
The Six senses is currently open to investors seeking a powerful second passport who are able to invest a minimum of USD 220,000.
Upon investing US$220,000 plus government fees, into a government‐approved Citizenship‐by‐Investment project such as Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada, an investor can enjoy multiple citizenship benefits including visa‐free travel to over 130 countries.
