Montenegro Government has announced important travel restrictions due to the coronavirus situation which has been declared as pandemic by WHO.
The provisional measures adopted by Ministry of Health and published in the official gazette, :
1) Prohibition of entry of all cruisers and yachts into ports: Bar, Budva, Kotor, Kumbor Port – Portonovi, Tivat (Gat I and Gat li) and Zelenika, until 2 April 2020;
2) Prohibition of landing and take-off of aircraft of Freebird Airlines, which is not a regular air carrier, at Podgorica Airport and Tivat Airport for the period from 13 to 19 March 2020;
3) Closure of border crossings for passenger border traffic according to:
– Bosnia and Herzegovina: Scepan Polje – Hum, on the Pluzine – Foca road; border crossing: Šula – Vitina, on the road Pljevlja – Foča;
– the Republic of Albania: Potter – Baškim, on the Plav – Shkoder road; Sukobin – Murici on the Ulcinj – Skadar road;
– Republic of Croatia: Mare – Vitina, on the Herceg Novi – Vitina – Dubrovnik road,
– Republic of Serbia: Ranče – Jabuka, on the road Pljevlja – Prijepolje; Vuče – Godova on the Rožaje – Tutin road;
4) Prohibition of travel from Montenegro to:
– Japan
– France
– Germany
– Switzerland
– Denmark;
– Austria
5) Placing under the quarantine supervision of returnees / passengers in international traffic from:
– Japan
– France
– Germany
– Switzerland
– Denmark
– Slovenia
– Austria
