Grenada switches to CBI online application platform due to COVID-19

The Grenada Citizenship Unit has announced suspension of paper applications, due to Covid-19 outbreak, effective from March 20 and new CBI application platform will be rolled out by end of March for agents to submit applications.

 

The circular from the CBI Unit said

 

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit has suspended acceptance of hard copies of files. This change in procedure was announced in a circular dated March 18, 2020 by CBI Unit CEO Percival E. Clouden.

 

Documents can be submitted electronically after the launch of Grenada’s CBI Management Online Information System, which is expected to be rolled out by March 31, 2020.

 

In the meantime, applications can be submitted electronically via a DropBox application that can be shared by request to CBI agents.

With one Coronavirus case confirmed,  effective 11:59 p.m. March 22nd, and until further notice,  Airports will be closed to ALL commercial passenger traffic in Grenada. Aircrafts carrying cargo and pre-approved medical personnel will be allowed to land, as necessary.
