Portugal has topped Golden visa rankings for 2021, taking the first place in ‘Best Golden Visa Rankings’, a study published by our sister brand Best Citizenships.

In 2019, Greece took the first spot but this time, Greece slipped to third place with Ireland moving up taking the second place in the table.  All in all European countries dominate top spots in GV rankings for 2021

Our Points based score (PBS) model looks in to the merits and demerits of several Golden visa (GV) programs and assigns scores. This year we considered some of the important criteria preferred by clients/investors such as investment options, citizenship criteria, processing times, healthcare, free movement, education, passport power, type of residency and even prevailing property prices.

In another study published at the beginning of 2021, St Lucia took the throne for CBI rankings 2021, taking the first place.
